This site, Vatsaheim, is operated by Srivatsa (“I”, “me”). This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to the information you share when you email me. The short version: I collect only what you send, I use it only to reply to you, and I never sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to any mailing list.
1. What I collect
This site has no forms, accounts, or sign-ups. I only receive information if you choose to email me — typically your name, email address, and the message you write. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
2. How I use it — and how I don’t
I use your details for one purpose only: to read your message and reply to it. The lawful basis for this is your consent (you chose to contact me) and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
I do not:
- store your email address in any database or CRM;
- use your email or details for marketing or newsletters;
- add you to any mailing list;
- sell, rent, trade, or share your information with anyone for their own use.
3. Who helps process it
Cloudflare hosts the site. As with any website, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request data to serve the pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Emails you send me are handled by my email provider like any other email.
4. How long I keep it
Your message lives in a personal email inbox only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up. I don’t keep a separate database of enquiries. If you’d like the message and your details deleted, email me and I’ll remove them.
5. Your choices
You can ask me at any time to access or delete the message and details you’ve sent by emailing me at vatsa.support@gmail.com.
6. Cookies & local storage
This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics that identify you. It stores one small preference in your own browser — your light/dark theme choice. It stays on your device and is never sent to me or anyone else.
7. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS with strict security headers, and it collects no data of its own. No method of transmission is ever 100% secure, but I keep the surface small and the data minimal.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
