These terms cover your use of Vatsaheim (this website), operated by Srivatsa. By using the site you agree to them. In short: this is an informational site — anything I actually build for you is governed by a separate written agreement we sign, not by this page.
1. The site is informational
The content here describes my work and services. It is not an offer, a quote, or a binding contract, and nothing on it creates a client relationship on its own. Any engagement begins only when we agree scope, price and terms in writing.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful or harmful;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, hack, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect content or contact details, including for spam or automated messaging;
- send false, abusive, or malicious messages to the contact email.
3. Intellectual property
The design, text, code and branding of this site are mine unless stated otherwise, and are protected by applicable law. You may view and share links to the site, but you may not copy, reproduce, or reuse its content or design without permission. Third-party names, logos and projects linked from the site belong to their respective owners.
4. Links to other sites
The site links out to external services and projects (for example, GitHub or a live product demo). I don’t control those sites and am not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
5. No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. I don’t guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information is complete or current at all times.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — this website. This does not limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Engagements are separate
Any consulting, build, or advisory work is delivered under a separate agreement that sets out scope, deliverables, fees, timelines and responsibilities. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the signed agreement controls for that work.
8. Privacy
How I handle information you send through the site is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site means you accept the latest terms.
